Celigo Shopify Specialists for integrator.io Flows

Celigo Shopify work runs on integrator.io, Celigo's integration and automation platform. For Shopify it offers three things: a managed integration app that connects Shopify to NetSuite, whose App Store listing now reads NetSuite Integration by Celigo; prebuilt templates for other ERPs and for Shopify B2B; and Shopify REST and GraphQL connectors for custom flows.

Merchants hire a Celigo developer to set up mappings and saved searches, switch on the Markets edition, reconcile payouts, build custom flows and move older REST flows to GraphQL. Multi-store roll-outs and moves off another connector come up too.

This usually sits with an integration consultant or solution provider who works on the ERP side as well as Shopify. If no profile below matches your ERP, the integration services linked at the end pick up Celigo flow work as well.

In a brief, say which ERP you run, how many Shopify stores you have, whether you sell through Markets, B2B or POS, and which flows exist today.

Celigo Shopify work across the app, templates and custom flows

Celigo gives you three ways to connect Shopify, and the choice shapes everything after it: who maintains the flows, how upgrades happen and what breaks when Shopify changes its API. Matching your requirements to the right route comes before any build.

The managed integration app. Prebuilt flows for customers, sales orders, inventory, items, billing, fulfilments, cancellations and refunds between Shopify and NetSuite. The expert configures mappings, saved searches and settings. Add-ons cover payouts reconciliation, settlement reconciliation, gift cards, kit items and line-level promotions.

The Markets edition. For stores selling across borders: presentment currency, duties as line items, GST and VAT by country, price lists per market and HS codes.

Templates. A Shopify B2B template syncs companies, locations, contacts, catalogues, pricing, orders, fulfilment and refunds. A newer unmanaged D2C template, released in 2026, is built on Shopify's GraphQL APIs for stores with custom requirements. Prebuilt Shopify integrations also exist for other ERPs, accounting and payment systems.

Custom flows. Celigo's Shopify connections, REST or GraphQL, for anything the app and templates don't cover. Error handling matters most here, because nobody else maintains these flows.

Store-level work. POS order flows such as buy online and pick up in store, or buy in store and ship to the customer. Cloning settings and mappings from one store to the next during a multi-store roll-out.

Migrations. Moving across from another connector, and rewriting REST-based custom flows on GraphQL.

Hiring a Celigo developer: routes, REST and red flags

Celigo's partner programmes include system integrators (solution providers, value-added resellers and consultants) alongside alliance and private equity partners. If partner status matters, check the firm's programme membership with Celigo directly.

Ask which route they'd use, and why. Managed app, template or custom flow. Each has a different maintenance owner. With the unmanaged D2C template, upgrades and ongoing maintenance sit with your team or your agency, not with Celigo.

Ask for a REST and GraphQL inventory. They should be able to say which of your existing flows call Shopify's REST endpoints and which already use GraphQL. If they can't, the audit hasn't really started.

What should worry you. Building custom flows for something the integration app already does. Planning a token connection through a new custom app. Ignoring Celigo's store-per-tile guidance on a multi-store setup.

Pay for an audit first. Map your current flows: which are managed, which are custom, which still call REST and which have failed in the last month. You get a useful document whoever does the build.

Celigo connector settings that catch Shopify stores out

The listing changed its name. Celigo's release notes from September 2025 record the App Store listing moving from NetSuite SmartConnector to NetSuite Integration by Celigo. Older briefs may still say SmartConnector. It's the same integration app.

One account per store. A Shopify store connects to the integration app through OAuth 2.0 via the Shopify App Store, and from only one integrator.io account. Check which account holds your store before anyone starts.

15 stores per tile. Celigo recommends no more than 15 Shopify stores in one integration app tile to avoid performance problems. Multi-brand groups should plan the split early.

Markets needs new scopes. The Markets edition requires the read_markets and write_markets scopes. Existing users have to re-authorise the connection before the market flows can run.

API version. Release 2025.8.1 moved the integration app to Shopify API version 2025-07. Check which version your installed release uses today. Custom flows sit outside those upgrades, so each one needs checking on its own.

Token connections are closing. Token authentication only works for stores with an existing legacy custom app and a valid access token. Shopify closed the admin to new custom apps on 1 January 2026, so fresh connections run on OAuth, client credentials or token exchange.

B2B and Shopify Plus. Celigo's B2B template documentation still says the company flow needs Shopify Plus. Shopify opened core B2B features to Basic, Grow and Advanced on 2 April 2026, so recheck the requirement with Celigo before scoping a non-Plus store.

Celigo integrations, from go-live to GraphQL

A Markets rollout and a GraphQL rebuild draw on different skills, and often on different people. Ask for a price on each of these rather than one integration quote.

Integration app go-live

Mappings, saved searches and test orders across customer, order and inventory flows

Markets edition

Currencies, duties, GST and VAT, per-market price lists and HS codes

Payouts reconciliation

Payout and settlement reconciliation add-ons configured and tested

Shopify B2B template

Companies, locations, contacts, catalogues and pricing synced from the ERP

GraphQL rebuild

REST-based custom flows rewritten on Shopify's GraphQL APIs

Multi-store roll-out

Settings and mappings cloned across stores, within the tile limit

Celigo Shopify connector questions

Is the Celigo connector the same as the integration app?

No. The integration app is a managed product with prebuilt flows and settings. A Celigo connector, or connection, is the building block a developer uses to reach Shopify's REST or GraphQL Admin API in a custom flow. A store can run both: the app for core order-to-cash, custom flows for the edge cases it doesn't cover.

Does Celigo work with ERPs other than NetSuite?

Yes. The managed integration app is the NetSuite one, but Celigo also publishes prebuilt Shopify integrations and templates for other ERPs, accounting and payment systems. Ask your developer whether a template exists for your system before anyone quotes a custom build, and whether it's managed or unmanaged.

What does a Celigo integration cost?

Celigo doesn't publish prices. It sells Standard, Professional and Enterprise editions priced by endpoints and flows, with no per-transaction or overage fees, and gives 30 days of platform access as a free trial. Budget your developer's time separately, scoped flow by flow.

Why did our custom Celigo product flow stop working?

Check whether it called Shopify's Product or Variant REST APIs. Shopify deprecated both, and Celigo had an extension that ran to 1 July 2025. Custom flows still on those endpoints need rebuilding on GraphQL. The managed integration app is upgraded by Celigo; your own flows are not.

What is Celigo Ora, and does it change the work?

Celigo now leads with its AI layer, Celigo Ora, which uses natural language to build and run integrations, automations and AI. Whatever builds the flow, someone still decides the mappings, the error handling and who owns the flow after launch. Judge an expert on those decisions, and ask whether they already use Ora on live client work.
