Attribuly Help for Shopify: Shopper Identification and Attribution

Need help with Attribuly? Attribuly experts set up shopper identification, Klaviyo recovery flows and server-side tracking on Shopify, then report on what actually drives sales.

The app, listed as Attribuly: Abandoned cart and on the App Store since March 2022, identifies anonymous shoppers, sends identity and intent signals into Klaviyo so more abandonment flows fire, and adds server-side tracking with event sync for Meta and Google. Plans run from free to $450 a month. Current plans are on Attribuly's App Store page.

Connecting it is quick. Experts are hired to run Attribuly flows alongside your native Klaviyo flows without double emails, to set up server-side events and UTM tracking, and to read the attribution dashboard with a skeptical eye.

As of October 2026, 5 experts carry the Attribuly badge on shopexperts: 2 agencies and 3 freelancers, based in Canada, Austria and Pakistan.

Attribuly jobs where experience shows

Connecting Klaviyo takes a few clicks. What matters is how the flows behave afterward.

Parallel Klaviyo flows. Attribuly sends server-side events into Klaviyo as metrics ending in "Attribuly SS", such as "Added to Cart - Attribuly SS". Its own guide keeps your native flows and clones each one with the SS metric as the trigger.

Double-send protection. Each cloned flow starts with a delay, then a conditional split that ends the flow if the shopper also fired the native metric. Skip it and customers get two cart emails.

Server-side events for ads. Event sync to Meta and Google, checked so ad platforms count each purchase once. Analytics and attribution experts do this daily.

Email as a channel. UTM tracking configured in Klaviyo, so Attribuly reports email alongside paid channels.

Recovery email content. AI-personalized recovery emails still need brand review and sensible send timing. Email marketing experts own that work.

Plan choice. Free, a $100 plan with a revenue share, or a $450 plan with visitor identification. The right one depends on your cart volume and markets.

Attribuly's free flow help. Its support team offers free flow configuration. For one store with standard flows, start there.

Questions that separate attribution pros from installers

Attribution work attracts confident claims. Hire the person who explains how they check their own numbers.

Ask how they prevent double emails. Expect the delay and conditional split pattern, plus a preview test: one profile with only SS events, one with both.

Ask how they will measure lift. Revenue in an attribution dashboard isn't the same as revenue you would not have earned anyway. A good candidate proposes a holdout or a before-and-after window and says which.

Ask about the revenue share. The ReCapture plan adds 10% of revenue to the monthly fee. They should get Attribuly to confirm how that revenue is counted before you sign.

Ask about consent. The app reads customer and browsing data and edits web pixels and script tags. Expect a check against your cookie setup and privacy policy.

Pitches to discount. Guaranteed ROI multiples, or attribution figures shown without the method behind them.

A one-flow pilot. Clone your cart abandonment flow, test it, and review two weeks of results before touching browse and checkout flows.

Attribuly plans, permissions and Klaviyo metrics

Three plans. As of October 2026, Free recovers up to $1,000 of email revenue and includes the attribution dashboard, new-customer CPA benchmarks and a missed-revenue audit. ReCapture is $100 a month plus a 10% revenue share, adding Klaviyo sync, server-side tracking and view-plus-click attribution. Capture is $450 a month, adding anonymous visitor identification, US email enrichment, Klaviyo flow sync and retargeting on Meta and Google. Paid plans carry a 7-day free trial.

Enrichment is listed as US. If most of your shoppers are elsewhere, ask what identification covers in your markets before choosing Capture.

App Embed comes first. Attribuly's Klaviyo guide lists the App Embed as a prerequisite, alongside the connected Klaviyo account.

Metrics appear after the first event. New SS metrics show in Klaviyo only once an event has fired, so trigger test events before building flows.

Wide data access. The listing requests names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, geolocation, IP and browsing data, plus edit access to customers, orders, discounts, web pixels, the theme and script tags.

Two admin languages. English and Simplified Chinese.

Attribuly questions: Klaviyo, pricing and switching

Do I need Klaviyo to use Attribuly?

The listing doesn't say Klaviyo is required, but most of the recovery features run through it: Klaviyo sync, flow sync and the SS metrics that trigger extra abandonment flows. If you run a different email platform, check the works-with list on the listing, which names other email and SMS tools, and ask Attribuly what yours supports.

Will Attribuly send duplicate abandoned cart emails?

Not if the flows are built the way Attribuly's guide describes. Each SS flow waits, then checks whether the shopper also triggered the native metric and exits if so. Test it in Klaviyo's preview before going live. Our Klaviyo abandoned cart flow guide covers the native side.

How do I budget for the ReCapture revenue share?

Model it on your own recovered revenue. ReCapture costs $100 a month plus 10% of revenue, so the total moves with results. Ask Attribuly which orders count toward the share and how attribution windows apply, then compare the likely total with the $450 Capture plan.

How do I move to Attribuly from another attribution tool?

Run both side by side for a few weeks and compare channel totals before switching. Agree which tool is the reference for each report. When you switch, remove the old tool's pixels and server-side events so ad platforms don't receive every purchase twice.

What should I send an Attribuly expert first?

Your current Klaviyo flows and their triggers, the ad accounts you run, your consent app, and recent abandoned checkout numbers. Say which markets you sell into, since email enrichment is listed as US. For background, see our Shopify marketing attribution guide.
