GemPages Shopify Experts for Landing Pages and Funnels

GemPages Shopify pages are built by drag and drop rather than code. GemPages makes landing, product and other pages, turns an image or URL into an editable layout with GemAI, and runs sales funnels with post-purchase upsells, downsells and A/B offer tests.

Starting is easy. Merchants hire when the page carries weight: a campaign launch, a funnel tied to checkout, sections that need to live inside the theme, or an old v6 build that has to move to v7. GemPages says it doesn’t offer full page-building services itself, so this work goes to outside designers and developers.

We counted 6 GemPages badge holders on shopexperts in October 2026: 2 agencies and 4 freelancers, working from Canada, the UK, Pakistan and the US. Browse their profiles below and send the page you need with one reference page you like.

The GemPages jobs worth paying for

Plenty of merchants build their first GemPages page alone. Paid help starts when a page carries a campaign budget or has to fit the theme properly.

Landing, product and collection pages. Custom builds from the 400+ templates and sections, kept on brand with Global Styles and scheduled to go live at the right moment. A good builder also keeps the page lean and checks it on a phone before launch.

Theme Sections. GemPages sections that sit inside the Shopify theme editor, so your team can add them to theme pages without opening the builder each time.

v6 to v7 rebuilds. Pages built in the older v6 editor miss out on Theme Sections and on Shopify’s translation support. Moving them to v7 is a rebuild, page by page, not a switch someone flips.

Funnels and offers. Post-purchase upsells and downsells, with A/B offer tests to find which offer earns its place. The GemPages listing says it works with Checkout for this part.

AI starting points. GemAI turns an image or URL into an editable layout, and GemPages MCP lets you build and refine pages from inside AI chats. Both speed up a first draft. A person still has to fix spacing, copy and mobile layout.

Translation and speed. Setting up translated versions of pages, then removing the elements that make a page heavy.

Moving from another builder. Stores leaving a different page builder need each page rebuilt in GemPages and checked against the original before the old app goes.

Choosing a GemPages designer or developer

Every badge holder lists store setup and management; half also offer Shopify development. Most of this group builds pages day to day. For Theme Sections or checkout funnels, look for the development side.

Ask which editor version they use. For anything new the answer should be v7. Someone still building fresh pages in v6 is setting you up for a second rebuild.

Ask for a live page. Open it on your phone on a mobile connection. A page that looks right in the editor and drags on a phone isn’t finished.

Ask which plan the build needs. Theme Sections need a paid GemPages plan. A good expert tells you which plan the project depends on before quoting, not after.

Ask how they would test an offer. If the brief includes a post-purchase funnel, ask how they would set up the A/B offer test and how long it should run before anyone picks a winner.

Red flags. Promised conversion lifts. Advice to uninstall GemPages to tidy up the store. A quote that never mentions mobile.

A paid first task. One landing page for one campaign. Small enough to judge quickly, real enough to show how someone works, and useful even if you go no further.

GemPages Shopify theme sections, v7 and billing details

Two editors run side by side. GemPages Editor v6 and v7 both work, and a store can use them at the same time. GemPages hasn’t published an end date for v6, but the newer features, Theme Sections and post-purchase design among them, are v7 only.

Theme Sections come with conditions. They need Editor v7, a paid plan (Build, Optimize or Enterprise) and a published theme. They can’t be copied or transferred between stores, so a brand with several stores rebuilds them in each one.

Translation works on v7 pages only. Shopify’s own translation app works with GemPages pages built in v7, not v6. Edits to the source language don’t flow through to existing translations either, so plan a translation check after every content change.

Don’t uninstall to save money. Uninstalling removes files and scripts GemPages added to the store and can affect live pages. GemPages advises downgrading to the Free plan instead, which keeps live pages intact and editable. The Free plan publishes one page.

Annual billing has gone for new customers. Since 2026, new GemPages customers pay monthly. Existing yearly subscribers can keep renewing.

GemPages integrations. The listing claims 160+ app integrations. Before a build, ask your expert to confirm that the specific apps on your product pages, such as reviews or subscriptions, work inside a GemPages layout.

GemPages on Shopify: questions before you hire

Should I learn GemPages myself before hiring?

GemPages’ own help centre covers the basics, and the Free plan lets you build and publish one page without a card. Build a simple page yourself first. You will write a better brief, understand what you are paying for and spot a weak quote faster. Hire once the page needs Theme Sections, funnels or a polished campaign build.

Does GemPages replace my Shopify theme?

No. GemPages builds individual pages and sections, and your theme stays in place. With v7 Theme Sections, GemPages content can also sit inside the theme editor. If you want a full redesign, that is theme work first, and GemPages pages are built around it.

Should I hire a GemPages agency or a freelancer?

Four of the six badge holders are freelancers, which fits most GemPages jobs: a landing page, a funnel, or rebuilding a few v6 pages in v7. An agency makes sense when pages are part of a store redesign, or when you run new campaign pages every month and want one team to own them.

Will GemPages slow my store down?

It can if pages get heavy. The app adds files and scripts to the store, and large images and stacked widgets add more. Ask your expert to check page speed on mobile after each launch. Our guide to apps slowing a Shopify store covers what to look for.

Are these GemPages experts part of the GemPages Partner Program?

GemPages runs its own Partner Program, with an Agency Partners track for developers and designers who build client stores. GemPages doesn’t issue the shopexperts badge, which only shows that a builder offers GemPages work here. Where programme status counts for your project, ask the builder whether they’re enrolled.

Can my team edit pages after the expert finishes?

Yes, if the build allows for it. Ask for Global Styles so colours and fonts change in one place, and for Theme Sections where your team works in the theme editor. A short recorded handover of the editor, kept with your store notes, saves paying for small changes later.
