Prisync Help for Shopify: Price Tracking and Dynamic Pricing

Need help with Prisync? Prisync experts map competitor URLs, set up price monitoring and write repricing rules for Shopify stores, so prices move without eating margin.

The app tracks competitor prices and stock on any website, Google Shopping and Amazon, then reprices Shopify products through SmartPrice rules built on your product costs. As of October 2026, plans start at $49 a month for up to 100 products, with a 14-day free trial on every plan.

Tracking is the easy half. Experts earn their fee on matching the right competitor listings, getting accurate costs into Shopify, and writing rules that hold a margin floor when a rival slashes prices overnight.

As of October 2026, 6 experts carry the Prisync badge on shopexperts: 3 agencies and 3 freelancers, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, the Netherlands, Türkiye and the United Kingdom.

Prisync jobs worth handing to a pricing specialist

Prisync gathers the data by itself. The paid work is deciding what to do with it, and stopping the app from doing the wrong thing at speed.

Competitor matches you can trust. Tracking can be URL-based, channel-based or hybrid, and auto-match proposes the pairs. Someone still checks that size, color and pack size line up, because one bad match reprices a product against the wrong item.

Cost data first. Prisync reads product cost from Shopify and needs it to reprice accurately. Blank or stale costs are common, and fixing them is often a product data job before any pricing work starts.

SmartPrice rule design. Where you sit against each competitor, the floor you never go below, and the ceiling. The compare-at price can act as the maximum level in a rule's markup settings.

Variant pricing choices. Each variant can reprice on its own or follow the lowest or highest variant SmartPrice. Apparel and multipacks usually need different answers.

Pricing by market. Stores on Shopify Markets follow a separate install guide, and Markets pricing optimization sits on the Platinum plan.

Small catalogs can self-serve. Under 100 products with a short competitor list, the Professional plan, its trial and the help center are enough to run Prisync yourself.

Questions that test a Prisync consultant

Repricing mistakes cost money within hours. Hire for caution and arithmetic before speed.

Ask where they start. The answer you want is cost and minimum margin, then competitor position. Someone who opens with "match the cheapest seller" will race you to the bottom.

Ask how they audit auto-matches. A good consultant samples matched URLs per category, checks variants, and keeps a list of competitors to exclude.

Ask which tracking style they would pick. URL-based, channel-based or hybrid change both coverage and the bill, since channel and hybrid tracking cost extra per channel on Premium and Platinum.

Ask how they would switch on automation. Instant price updates are off by default. Reviewing SmartPrice suggestions for a week or two, then enabling one category, is the careful route.

Walk away from promised margin percentages, full-catalog automation on day one, or a plan that ignores how your theme shows compare-at prices.

A one-category pilot. Pay to match and rule 50 products in one category, run suggestions for two weeks, then review the log together before anything changes live.

Prisync on Shopify: plans, imports and repricing windows

Plans. As of October 2026, Professional is $49 a month for up to 100 products with price and stock checks three times a day. Premium is $199 for up to 1,000 and adds variant and marketplace tracking. Platinum is $399 for up to 5,000, with price history and instant change notifications.

Channel add-ons. On Premium, channel-based tracking adds $100 a month per channel and hybrid adds $200. On Platinum those become $200 and $400.

What imports. Active products import automatically up to your SKU limit. Draft, archived and unlisted products are left out unless you include them, and Excel import switches off once the store is connected. Repricing works only on products brought in through the Shopify batch import.

Automation starts off. Instant price updates are disabled until you turn them on. Products with no matching rule keep their current price.

Pause windows. Repricing pauses during competitor tracking runs at 05:00 to 10:00, 14:00 to 16:15 and 22:00 to 00:15, GMT+3. Plan time-sensitive changes around them.

Variant changes break sync. Adding a variant to a product that had none causes a sync issue, and Prisync removes that product from its panel. Re-import it after catalog edits.

Prisync pricing and Shopify setup FAQs

What does Prisync pricing look like for a Shopify store?

As of October 2026, the App Store lists Professional at $49, Premium at $199 and Platinum at $399 a month, covering up to 100, 1,000 and 5,000 products. Each plan has a 14-day free trial. Channel-based or hybrid tracking on the upper plans costs extra per channel, so count the channels you need before choosing.

Does Prisync dynamic pricing change Shopify prices automatically?

Only once you enable it. Instant price updates are off by default, and prices then move according to your SmartPrice rules. You can update only the sale price or also write the previous price into the compare-at field. Decide that before launch, because your theme may show the old price crossed out.

Do I need a developer for the Prisync Shopify integration?

Not for the install or product import. Development skills help when variant structures change often, when costs live in another system and need syncing into Shopify, or when you sell through several Shopify Markets. For a small catalog, the app plus a careful afternoon on rules is usually enough.

Can Prisync set different prices for each Shopify Market?

Shopify Markets pricing optimization is listed on the Platinum plan, and stores using Markets follow a separate install guide that configures each market. Agree on your currency and rounding approach with whoever handles Markets localization before repricing goes live.

How do I switch to Prisync from another price tracking tool?

Expect to rebuild rather than import. Export your current competitor list and rules, recreate the rules as SmartPrice rules, let Prisync match competitors again, and compare its suggestions with the old tool for a week while instant updates stay off. Then stop the old tool changing prices before you enable Prisync, so two apps never write prices at once.
