ShopOS AI is a Shopify app that generates product photos and videos and writes titles, descriptions, alt text, tags and collection copy, with bulk editing across the catalog. Its Brand Memory feature learns your guidelines and visual identity so each batch follows them. ShopOS launched the app in July 2026, and as of October 2026 the free plan includes 500 credits. ShopOS on the Shopify App Store.
Connecting ShopOS to a store is quick. Agencies earn their fee on the rules around it: what the AI may change, who approves images before they publish, and how many credits a full catalog pass will burn.
As of October 2026, 3 experts carry the ShopOS badge on shopexperts: 3 agencies, based in Canada, the United Kingdom and Serbia.
Open with your brand guidelines, 20 sample products with their current photos, and the catalog size you want covered first.
Generating one image is easy. Running AI content across a live catalog without losing accuracy or brand consistency is a project.
Brand Memory that reflects the brand book. Feeding in logos, fonts, colors, tone and the phrases you never use, then testing outputs against it. Pro allows up to 2 Brand Memories, which suits a second label or a wholesale line.
Catalog copy at volume. Titles, descriptions, alt text, tags, variant text and collection descriptions, generated and bulk edited. Someone has to check sizes, materials and care claims before they publish, the core of product and catalog setup work.
Generated photos and video. New lifestyle scenes, variations of existing shots and short clips. A product photographer can supply the clean source images the AI works from.
Structured data output. ShopOS lists structured data among its content types, so a developer should confirm it doesn't duplicate what your theme already outputs.
Behavior-based storefront changes. The listing describes storefront personalization from customer behavior. That needs a test plan, not a switch flipped on launch day.
Campaign assets. Social posts drafted from product data and launches planned through the agentic chat.
Small catalogs can self-serve. With a few dozen products, test on the free 500 credits and review output in-house before paying anyone.
A good ShopOS candidate talks about review rules and source images before prompts. The AI is the fast part.
Ask how they check generated images. Listen for side-by-side comparison with the physical product for color, texture, scale and label text, and a list of items that should never be generated, such as packaging with regulated claims.
Ask for a credit estimate. ShopOS doesn't publish how many credits an image or video uses. A careful agency runs a small batch on the free credits, counts what it used, and prices the full catalog from that.
Ask about rollback. Before any bulk edit, they should save the current titles, descriptions and images so a bad batch can be reversed.
Pitches to walk away from. Promised conversion lifts from AI imagery, or a plan to regenerate the whole catalog before you approve a sample.
A paid pilot on one collection. Twenty to thirty products through Brand Memory, copy and images, delivered with a before-and-after sheet, the credits used and the edits you rejected. It shows how they work and what a full pass will cost.
Credits by plan. As of October 2026: Free with 500 credits; Pro at $19 a month with 2,000 monthly credits; Growth at $99 with 14,000; Business at $199 with 35,000. Annual billing runs $180, $948 and $1,908. Billing is in USD every 30 days and can include usage-based charges.
Features sit behind plans. AI Refinement and Batch Generations start on Pro. Inviting up to 4 team members needs Growth. Human Refine is listed only on Business.
A new listing. The app launched on July 15, 2026 and had no reviews as of October 2026. Expect features and pricing to move, and recheck the listing before signing a long scope.
English only on the listing. English is the only language named. If you sell in other languages, ask how translated copy will be produced and checked.
Broad data permissions. The app requests access to customer data, including addresses and activity, plus staff data, orders, discounts and Online Store content. Have whoever owns privacy sign off.
No listed integrations. Nothing appears under Works with, so connections beyond Shopify are worth asking about.
All 3 ShopOS badge holders are agencies, and every one lists store setup work.

As of October 2026 the app has a free plan with 500 credits, then Pro at $19 a month, Growth at $99 and Business at $199, with 2,000, 14,000 and 35,000 monthly credits. Yearly billing saves about a fifth. Usage-based charges can apply, and agency setup is quoted on top.
ShopOS doesn't say how many credits an image, a video or a description uses. Run 10 products through the free plan, note the credits left, and multiply. Include images and video in the test, not just copy, so the estimate covers every asset type you plan to use.
A small store can run it alone: set up Brand Memory, generate, review, publish. An agency earns its fee on large catalogs, several brands, or when generated images must match real products closely enough that customers aren't surprised by what arrives.
Not for the shots buyers judge the product on. Keep real photos for color, fit and detail, and use generated scenes and variations around them. Check every image against the physical item before publishing, especially labels and anything with regulated claims.
Your brand guidelines, logo and font files, product count, 20 example products with current images, and the fields you want changed. Add any words or claims that must never appear. Say whether you need other languages, since the listing names English only.
