Zipify OneClickUpsell Shopify Funnel Builders

A Zipify OneClickUpsell Shopify funnel can run the whole length of a purchase. Listed on the App Store as One Click Upsell - Zipify OCU, the app shows offers on the product page and in pre-purchase pop-ups, in a slide-cart drawer, inside checkout for Shopify Plus stores, as one-click post-purchase upsells and downsells, and on the two pages after payment, Thank you and Order status.

Targeting is what merchants pay experts to get right: offers keyed to product, cart value and customer tags, split-tested, with Zipify AI suggesting products. Experts also move script-based thank-you offers onto app blocks, a job that turned urgent for non-Plus stores in late August 2026.

As of October 2026, 5 shopexperts profiles carry the Zipify OneClickUpsell badge: 2 agencies and 3 freelancers, in Canada, Germany, France and Pakistan. Compare them below, and send your Shopify plan with a list of the offers you run today.

How an OCU expert plans the funnel

OCU can put an offer at almost every step between the product page and the order status page. That is the risk as much as the feature. The expert's real job is restraint: which offer, for which shopper, at which step.

Before checkout. Product page upsells, pre-purchase pop-ups and the slide-cart drawer with its own cart upsells. A pop-up on every product wears thin fast, so a good expert saves them for products where an add-on genuinely helps.

Inside checkout. In-checkout offers for Shopify Plus stores with checkout extensibility switched on, placed so the payment step stays clear.

After payment. One-click post-purchase upsells, with a downsell ready for anyone who turns the first offer down.

Thank you and Order status. Offers placed with the TY/OS Upsells app block in the checkout editor. Stores that once ran script-based thank-you offers need them rebuilt this way.

Targeting and split tests. Rules by product, cart value and customer tags, Zipify AI recommendations, and built-in A/B tests switched on before an offer reaches every customer.

Subscriptions and design. OCU integrates with the major subscription apps, so offers on subscription products deserve a full test order before launch. Offer page design and custom development fill out the rest of a typical brief.

PostProfit. Optional third-party ads after checkout, on Thank you and Order status, that pay the merchant. Someone should show you exactly what customers will see before it goes live.

Choosing a Zipify OneClickUpsell expert

Two of the five badge holders are agencies and three are freelancers, and between them they work in English, German, French, Spanish and Arabic, which helps when offer copy has to read naturally in more than one market.

Ask for a one-page funnel map. Every offer, the step it sits on and the rule that triggers it. An expert who can sketch this before quoting has thought about your catalogue. One who cannot will build offers one at a time and hope they add up.

Ask what they have migrated. Request an example of script-based thank-you offers they moved onto the TY/OS Upsells block, with screenshots from before and after.

Ask how they get paid. Zipify runs an Agency Partner Program with a revenue share, training and a recommended-agency listing. There is nothing wrong with that, but you should know whether your expert earns from your OCU subscription.

Check their plan for testing. OCU has split testing built in. A proposal that launches every offer to all traffic at once gives you no way of knowing which ones work.

Red flags: offering in-checkout upsells before checking your Shopify plan, or suggesting script tags on the Thank you page. Open with a paid audit of your current offers against today's Shopify rules, with one offer path rebuilt and under test.

Zipify OneClickUpsell Shopify setup: deadlines and limits

The script deadlines have passed. Shopify retired checkout.liquid and additional scripts for the post-payment pages on 28 August 2025. Script tags there stopped for Plus stores the same day, and for every other plan on 26 August 2026. If thank-you offers went quiet on a non-Plus store in late August, start there.

Use Shopify's dates. Zipify's migration article, updated in August 2026, still quotes Shopify's 2024 timelines. Work from the dates in Shopify's developer documentation instead.

Make OCU the active app. One-click post-purchase offers only run once One Click Upsell - Zipify OCU is selected in the Checkout section of Shopify's settings. A store that has trialled other upsell apps can still have one of them selected.

Tokenised payments only. Post-purchase offers need a payment method that can be charged again without the customer re-entering details. Zipify's FAQ lists Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and direct credit processors among them. Ask what share of your orders that leaves out.

Currency and duties. Zipify's FAQ says post-purchase offers are skipped when an order is charged in anything but the store's main currency, or when duties apply. Stores selling across borders should place a foreign-currency test order before trusting any offer.

Headless storefronts. Post-purchase and thank-you offers work on a headless build. Pre-purchase offers do not, because they can only be triggered on a Shopify storefront.

OCU work across these 5 profiles

No single category dominates these five profiles, which suits an app that needs as much planning as building.

Zipify OCU questions: names, Plus, PostProfit and billing

OCU, OneClickUpsell or One Click Upsell: which name is right?

All three. OCU is short for OneClickUpsell, made by Zipify Apps, and the App Store listing reads One Click Upsell - Zipify OCU. It has been live there since October 2020. Zipify's help centre uses OCU and OneClickUpsell side by side, so expect every version in briefs and proposals and don't read anything into which one an expert uses.

Can I run Zipify OneClickUpsell without Shopify Plus?

Yes. Only the in-checkout offers need Plus with checkout extensibility. Product page upsells, pre-purchase pop-ups, the slide-cart drawer, one-click post-purchase offers and Thank you and Order status page offers are open to other plans. For most non-Plus stores the post-purchase step and the cart drawer are where the planning effort should go.

What is Zipify Plus, and do I still need an expert?

Zipify Plus is a separate, fully managed upsell service that Zipify sells to larger brands. If you go that route, Zipify's team runs the programme, and an outside expert is mostly useful for theme and offer page design or an independent audit. If you run OCU yourself, an expert fills the gap between installing the app and having a funnel worth testing.

Should I switch on PostProfit?

PostProfit shows targeted third-party ads on your Thank you and Order status pages to customers in the US and Canada, and pays you for them. It needs checkout extensibility. It earns from orders you have already won, but the ads belong to other businesses. Look at what would actually appear for your customers before deciding it fits your brand.

How is the OneClickUpsell bill worked out?

Paid plans are tiered by the monthly upsell revenue the app generates, with a 30-day free trial; only development and partner stores use it free. A funnel that works moves you up a tier, which is the point, but it belongs in the forecast. Ask the expert which tier your planned offers are likely to land in, and check the bill again after your first busy month.
