Instant Section & Page Builder

Instant Shopify Page Builder Experts

Instant is an AI page builder from Instant Commerce, the company behind instant.so, and its App Store listing now goes by Instant AI Page Builder. Instant Shopify pages start as an AI draft, then move into a visual editor where landing, product, home and collection pages, theme sections, popups and cart drawers are finished and published without code. Figma designs can be converted into Shopify layouts as well.

Merchants hire an expert when the draft is not the finished page. Turning a designer's file into a page that matches the theme. Building sections the team can reuse. Writing and testing conversion copy. Or cleaning up after another page builder.

In October 2026 the Instant badge appears on 6 shopexperts profiles, still filed under the app's older name, Instant Section & Page Builder. One is an agency and 5 are freelancers, working from Canada, the United States, Bulgaria, Nepal and Pakistan. Compare them below, and send a link to the design or reference page you want built.

Instant page builder work an expert takes on

The AI draft is the quick part of an Instant page. Merchants pay for the last stretch: matching the theme, wiring in real products and data, and leaving something the team can keep editing without calling anyone.

Design to Shopify. Converting a designer's Figma file into a live Instant page, then checking it on mobile and connecting real products, prices and images in place of the mock-up's placeholders.

Landing and product pages. Campaign landing pages and product page templates, starting from an AI draft or one of the 800+ CRO templates, then rewritten around your products and customers.

Reusable theme sections. Sections published into the theme, so the team edits content in the Shopify theme editor, swaps the connected product and reuses the section on other pages. Instant's sections work with Shopify Markets and metafields, which matters when one section has to serve several countries.

Cart drawer and popups. A custom cart drawer with upsells and countdowns, and popups built in the same editor, styled to the rest of the store.

Conversion work. Copywriting, UX design and A/B tests on Instant pages, within the test sessions your plan includes.

Switching builders. Rebuilding pages made in another page builder, then removing the files that builder left behind in the theme. Skip that last step and the old code stays in your theme long after the app has gone.

How to pick an Instant designer or developer

Decide first whether your job is mostly design or mostly build. In this group, 4 of the 6 list store setup, 3 list marketing and growth and 3 list Shopify development, while 2 list design. Converting a design file needs a careful eye; a set of reusable sections tied to metafields needs someone comfortable with data.

Ask for live pages. Mock-ups prove nothing about an Instant build. Ask for links to pages running on real stores and open them on your phone.

Ask how your team will edit it. A good expert explains which parts become theme sections you can edit in the theme editor and which stay as Instant pages, and hands over short notes on both.

Ask about clean-up. If you are moving from another builder, the quote should include removing its leftover files. If it does not mention them, ask.

Check certification where it matters. Instant keeps its own Instant Experts directory of freelancers and agencies it certifies, alongside separate agency and affiliate programmes. The shopexperts badge is not Instant certification, so check that directory if it matters to you.

Red flags: building every repeated block as a one-off page, or no plan for how you will update content later. A sensible first paid task is one reusable section built from your design, published into your theme and edited by you before you sign off.

Instant Shopify setup: publishing, plans and clean exits

Publishing writes to your theme. When you publish an Instant page, it is added to your Shopify theme, and Shopify then creates it as a page in your online store. Sections publish into the theme too, ready for the theme editor. That is convenient, and it also means Instant's work lives inside your theme files.

Leave cleanly. Instant's own uninstall guide says to downgrade and unpublish every layout made with Instant before removing the app. Uninstall first and files can be left behind in the live theme. A good expert does this in the right order, whether you are leaving Instant or just tidying up.

Plan limits shape the build. A/B test sessions are capped by plan, and the Enterprise and Agency tier on instant.so is aimed at Shopify Plus stores, with unlimited theme sections and templates. If an expert proposes a large section library or a heavy testing schedule, check your plan covers it before they start.

Two price lists. Prices on the Shopify App Store and on instant.so differ, and the vendor site also offers annual billing. Confirm what your store is actually billed before you budget the project.

Markets and metafields. Instant's sections are built to work with Shopify Markets features and metafields. Stores selling in several countries should ask the expert to check a section in each market before it goes live.

Instant Shopify page builder questions

Is instant.so the same as Instant AI Page Builder?

Yes. instant.so is the website of Instant Commerce, which makes the app. The App Store listing calls it Instant AI Page Builder, sits at the handle instant-builder and has been live since August 2023. The shopexperts badge still uses the older name, Instant Section & Page Builder, so you will see both names for the same app.

Can I use the Instant page builder for free?

It depends where you look. The instant.so pricing page lists a free plan that publishes one page and one section. The App Store listing offers free use on development stores only, with a 7-day free trial on the paid plans. Check which applies when you install. For a single campaign page, the one-page allowance can be enough to see an expert's work live before you pay for a plan.

Do I still need a developer if Instant converts my design?

Often, yes, but for less time. The conversion gets the layout into Shopify. Someone still has to connect real products and metafields, check spacing on small screens, fix anything that does not match the theme, and decide what should become a reusable section. The conversion saves building time; the finishing is still yours to pay for.

Should I build an Instant page or an Instant section?

Use a page for one-off content: a campaign landing page or a launch. Use a section for anything that repeats or sits inside templates you already have, because sections are edited in the theme editor and can be reused with a different connected product. If you expect to copy a block onto a second page, make it a section.

Is the AI draft good enough to publish as it is?

Rarely. Instant says its AI builds a first page in seconds, and that is a useful head start, not a finished page. The copy is generic until someone rewrites it for your products and customers, and the layout needs checking against your brand and on mobile. Treat the draft as a brief the expert finishes.
