Kno Commerce runs post-purchase surveys on Shopify that ask buyers how they found you and why they bought, then turns the answers into attribution reports. On the App Store it is listed as KNO Post Purchase Surveys. As of October 2026, plans cost $19, $119 or $299 a month, each with a 7-day free trial, and there is no free plan.
Brands hire help to write questions that produce usable channel data, target the right buyers, send answers to Klaviyo or Google Analytics, and square survey results with what the ad platforms report.
As of October 2026, 5 experts carry the Kno Commerce badge on shopexperts: 2 agencies and 3 freelancers, based in Australia, Canada, Italy, North Macedonia and the United States.
Send an expert your channel mix and monthly ad spend before the first call.
Templates get a survey live in minutes. Getting answers you can spend money on is the harder part.
The answer list. An attribution question is only as good as its options. They should mirror the channels you actually run, in words buyers use, short enough to read on a phone.
Follow-up logic. Conditional logic lets a buyer who picks "podcast" or "creator" name which one. That second answer is often what decides next month's budget.
Who gets asked. Audience targeting splits first-time buyers from repeat customers, or one product line from another. Analyst allows 4 audiences, Pro unlimited plus custom multi-criteria ones.
Where answers go. Klaviyo, Google Analytics and Shopify Flow are listed integrations. An email marketing expert can turn "found us on TikTok" into a segment and a flow.
Reading the reports. Survey answers and platform-reported conversions rarely agree. A marketing attribution expert explains the gap instead of picking whichever number looks better.
When templates are enough. One attribution question on Starter, with the built-in templates and the vendor's free demo, covers most stores spending modestly on ads.
Survey projects go wrong at the question stage, long before any report exists. Judge candidates on how they think about questions and data.
Ask for a draft answer list. Give them your channels and ad spend, and ask for the options they would offer buyers. Good drafts separate search from video and paid social from organic, without becoming a 15-item list.
Ask which plan fits. KnoCommerce's own guidance is Analyst under $100k a month in ad spend and Pro above. Integration count matters too: Starter has none, Analyst 2 at once, Pro 4.
Ask what they would change after a month. Starter runs one live survey. A thoughtful expert plans which question to retire and which to add once the first answers settle.
Treat these as warnings. Claims that a survey replaces platform tracking. Ten questions on a post-purchase page. No plan for "Other" free-text answers.
Start with a 30-day read-out. Pay for setup plus one report after 30 days of responses, comparing survey answers with ad platform data.
Starter. One live survey, three questions, unlimited responses, conditional logic and custom styling. No integrations, so answers stay in the app or leave by export.
Analyst. Two live surveys, up to 999 questions each, 12 more question types, 4 audiences, actions, benchmarks and two concurrent integrations.
Pro. Four live surveys, survey links you can send by email, SMS or community groups, unlimited audiences with 5 custom multi-criteria ones, image and video questions, four concurrent integrations and a team Slack channel.
Extra costs. NPS is an add-on with additional fees, and Warehouse Data Sync to Looker or BigQuery may cost extra. Neither price is published.
Terms. Month-to-month and cancelable anytime, with a 7-day trial and free one-on-one demos on every plan.
Data access. Exports on every plan and a REST API for moving responses elsewhere. The app is in English only.
The 5 badge holders lean toward setup and strategy, which suits a tool whose value is in the questions and the reading of results.

As of October 2026: Starter is $19 a month, Analyst $119 and Pro $299. Each has a 7-day free trial and there is no free plan. NPS surveys are an add-on with extra fees. Plans are month-to-month and cancelable anytime. Any expert fee sits on top of the subscription.
Start from integrations and audiences. Starter has no integrations, so if survey answers must reach Klaviyo or Google Analytics, you need Analyst or Pro. KnoCommerce suggests Analyst for stores spending under $100k a month on ads and Pro above that, mainly for more live surveys and audiences.
Klaviyo is a listed integration on plans that include integrations: Analyst allows two at once, Pro four. Decide first which answers deserve a segment, such as the channel a buyer named, then have your expert check how those answers appear in Klaviyo before you build flows.
No. It answers a different question. Platforms report the clicks and views they can track, while a survey records what buyers remember. Use both: when they disagree on a channel, that gap is worth a closer look before you move budget.
Your current channels and monthly spend on each. Monthly orders. Any survey questions you already run or have run before. The tools the answers should reach, such as Klaviyo or Google Analytics. Then the decision you want the data to settle, such as whether a channel deserves more budget.
