Shopify speed and ad tracking fixes: for stores where the ads bring visitors but not sales
I helped an apparel brand cut product-page load time from 15.4 seconds to 7.4 seconds - five weeks before Black Friday. That's what I do: I find what's slowing your store down and fix it.
The same work keeps surfacing a second problem: stores where the numbers are broken. Pixels firing twice and double-counting conversions. Ad campaigns spending across the whole catalog with no filter on what actually earns. Apps billing every month for work nobody has measured. So alongside speed, I measure what your money - ad spend, apps, tracking - is actually doing, instead of trusting what the platforms and vendors report. Then I fix what the measurement finds.
I specialize in Shopify speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, ad-spend and tracking measurement, and sales-channel recovery for established, founder-run stores. I treat speed and ad spend the same way: as revenue problems, not technical checkboxes.
What I work on, six ways in:
Speed and Core Web Vitals Read: I measure your mobile load on real visits, find what makes shoppers wait, and fix it.
Accessibility Exposure Read: I test your store the way a keyboard user and a screen reader meet it, check whether a widget is sitting on top of problems it does not fix, and rank the findings by what a complaint would reach first.
Shopify Deadline Check: which Shopify changes have already stopped something on your store, Scripts ended on 30 June and order status script tags on 26 August, and which are dated ahead, with the repairs made.
Tracking and Attribution Fix: Meta Pixel, GA4 and server-side, double-counting removed and verified in your own dashboards. Ad spend by product and the app bill get read in the same pass.
Builds and Theme Upgrades: new sections and modern themes with your custom work and your tracking still running, and a rollback plan on every change that touches the live site.
Partner Seat: 25 hours a month with someone watching speed, the customer-facing experience, broken links, tracking and app bills, your work first in the queue.
Every read is $285 and the fee credits toward the fix. Most of the stores I hold a monthly seat with started with one of these.
Key results:
Product-page load time cut from 15.4s to 7.4s - 52% faster
Mobile PageSpeed on product pages from 18 to 28 - with the client's chosen app stack kept in place, at their call
Two apps billing to track what the store's own Google channel already handled - removed, tracking verified clean, and $199/yr off the app bill
Repeat clients going back to 2018 - one store at 14 projects across four years
How I work:
A diagnostic audit measures the actual problem - no guesswork, and the audit fee credits toward the fixes
Phased implementation - you approve each milestone
Every delivery closes with verified before/after numbers and a short list of the next opportunities I found
80+ projects completed. Clients across the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and Denmark.
Send me your store URL and I'll tell you what's slowing it down, whether your numbers can be trusted, and what an accessibility complaint would find. No commitment needed.

Thank you, Meghan. Dependable is the word I most want to earn, so it means a lot coming from you. It has been a pleasure working on the CHEMEX store with you this past year.

Always happy to work with Erick :)
Thank you, Bettina 😊 The feeling is mutual. This year I have updated your theme and added the FRI FRAGT badge, and it has been a pleasure every time. You know your customers well and you tell me clearly what you want. That makes the work easy. Best wishes to you and everyone at the shop in Helsingør.

Erik was so easy to work with! Very thorough and excellent with explaining each step and gave detailed answers to all of my questions. I highly recommend him!
Thank you, Victoria. Four projects on, what I remember most is how closely you checked every step from your side. You asked precise questions each time and you held me to clear answers, and that is exactly what makes this kind of work land properly. Stork Baby Gift Baskets has been a genuine pleasure to spend time in. Thank you for the trust.

This is the second time we worked with Erick to scope out a project and understand our requirements and specification more, mainly relating to Meta ad attribution and server-side events (and exclusions). The report was delivered clearly and in a timely manner.
Thank you, Joe - much appreciated. Meta attribution and server-side events are exactly the kind of problem I enjoy untangling, and the clarity on your side about requirements made both rounds of scoping sharp. Whenever the next question comes up, you know where to find me.

Erick is professional to a fault, takes time to listen and understand what it is your trying to achieve. Designs the scope and plan from there and then executes in a timely manner. Any snagging is addressed promptly and handled professionally. Definitely recommend.
Thank you, Tony. Working with you on Ready Sweat Go across both rounds was a pleasure - you kept the goals sharp and the feedback fast, which is what made the speed turnaround land the way it did. Glad to have you as a repeat client.

Erick did a great job understanding my situation and I found a path forward with getting help from him. We were able to break down smaller chunks to complete so my website would be updated and functional while other, less important items wait.
Thank you, Robert — breaking the work into the right-sized pieces so the store stayed live and functional throughout was exactly the right way to run it, and your clarity on what mattered first made that easy. It was a pleasure.

Erick helped us on two separate projects, and was fast to respond to feedback and resolve any bugs or issues that were found. After a few iterations, the projects were put live with no issues, and a few other small improvements were also suggested and completed free of charge by Erick which was much appreciated. We are now looking at a third project with Erick as we were pleased with the previous work.
Thank you — much appreciated. Quick, clear feedback on your side made both projects easy to land cleanly, and the small extras were my pleasure. Glad to be looking at the next one together.
